Nail through the heart

Cupid's  arrow through the heart
Love sparks and happiness
Knows no bound
But the day the arrow becomes a nail
Not a smile can be found

Removing the nail
with a plier or lawyer
both are painful

 Walking around with it
Or not walking
Both are not advisable

Keeping your heart locked away
 in a safe place
is no solution
Not using it regularly
can lead to serious depression

But alas there is no way
to smile and file
your problems away

Some play victim
And showcase the nail
And retell the tale
Of the blood that was spilled

Others heal with time
Forgive,  forget
and realise
there was no crime

They use the
new found wisdom
And live life well
Their heart and mind open
To cupid's next dart
Hoping to make a new start

Warning: The poem may restart
But I don't need to tell you
As you are pretty smart
