Crushed

I kept stealing glances at her
I was undoubtedly crushed
Her smile, her flick of her hair
Were getting me all flushed

No idea from where and who she is
But what heart warming magic is this
Not sure about her type and inclinations
But mesmerised by this smiling apparition

At that moment her mask slipped
and I saw her in tears
I was moved like I never was
I could even feel her fears

I wanted to rush forward and give her a hug
But my body was paralysed with this love bug
I realised I was stuck in a romantic quick sand
The only way out, if she but lends me her hand

Our eyes for a second did make contact
My heart stopped beating, it's a fact
Her taste seemed perfect, without a pretense
Her tattoo, her trinkets, her dressing sense

In that moment when I was trapped in her vibe
Her unspoken words I would have loved to subscribe
You can keep practicality,  reality and all common sense
Please let me drift in the bliss of her enchanting presence
