Of our old friends and new

Sub Division

Today your imaginary group is clearly very strong
But tomorrow your sub group will be painted all wrong

Today they give you a collective sense of pride
But tomorrow they will insult after they sub divide

Today you may even lead a group for their birth right
But tomorrow they will sideline you for your skewed farsight

Tomorrow is coming,  so if
we keep nodding like sheep

By my side when things got tough
Whatever the tragedy

Immeasurable

Two souls in love,
Expressing in their own way,
Immeasurable, uncomparable
Why quantify it in some way!

If love could be measured in roses,
How many tons do you suppose mom's love would be?

If love could be measured in kisses,
How many millions do you suppose an ideal romance would be?

If love could be measured by the marble on the tomb
How many truck load do you suppose a dog's love would be?

If love could be measured by hours in fond memories
How many months would your one sided love be?

If she believes he loves her more then she is wrong
If he believes she loves him less then he is also wrong

If our thoughts are more sincere than our words
If our actions express more than our kisses
Then and only then our mutual love could be termed strong

Even if I  love her more
in some hypothetic scale
 is it credit to ME
or to HER lovablty!!

But in any case

Jealousy

Jealousy was not the norm for me
Others seeing me would usually turn green
But this time around I was sucked  right in
When my crush held the hands of the drama queen

Boys and men can fall
for the most superficial of traits
Why can't they wait for their true call
Why do they run after these weird dolls

She has neither my looks
Or my sense of taste
How is she able to bait her hook
And turn him into mushy paste

The J feeling is all consuming
A broad stroke of insecurity
A dark shade of anger
A looming tinge of anxiety

Am I inferior or is it
 an inferiority complex
Is jealousy a serious problem
 Or just an emotional reflex

Double Dilemma

I am a hippo-butterfly
with my heavy lightness
I am a lion-squirrel
with my timid fearlessness
I am a  monkeying hyena
with my wicked goodness
Many dilemmas I have overcome
But I am split between the possibilities of what I can become

I am a mighty oak twig
with my brittle strength
I am a bamboo-grass
with my slow fast growth
I am a donkey fox
With a smart ass knoweth
Some challenges I have overcome
But I am still just a shadow
