Grant me a 3 bhk flat
Grant me a fast WiFi with that
Grant me that vacation
Grant me that promotion

And God said "let it be done"
But there was a catch
Developer got promotion
Credit card based vacation
A flat on loan
A Facebook account to moan

Developer turned PM's Prayer

Grant me peace of mind
So that these barking deadlines
In my head will just shut up

Grant me strength of will
To restrain me from killing
All those who hound me
To pay my credit card bills

Grant me the wisdom
To accept my fb post's
 likes and adulations
To ignore customers
complaints and escalations

Grant me the patience
To inch thru
mile long traffic clogs
And customer issue logs

Grant me the grace
To accept this stupid rat race
Delivery struggle, Resource trouble
And this endless UAT phase

And please God
no catch this time
Implementation such
I don't need to pray next time
