Eternal Hope 1

It's extremely sad, I told my sister
there is only one way out
She has to get married
to some oddity without doubt

Love she can forget
and a match not a chance
Being a smart girl like she is
fate will not grant her romance

She is very intelligent and witty
Has earned euro, dollar, yen
and carrying her own opinion!
Is simply not acceptable to men

There are exceptions to this rule
But competition is too high
The few good ones are zapped
Like a frog catches a fly

Society says she waited too long
and crossed the ideal age
But to stand on her own feet
It took her time to reach this stage

But she surprised me and said
"Don't worry dear brother.
Even if I don't marry
it's okay! Don't you see
Though I have a gut feel
Somebody will find me"
